Meijer, across the Midwest
Over two million square feet delivered for the Grand Rapids based retailer across Michigan, Ohio and the wider Midwest, in more than a dozen projects since the 1980s.
Theodore Levin U.S. Courthouse, Detroit
A night tear-off, daily security screening and a crawler crane over a closed street. 44,218 square feet of adhered 60-mil Carlisle PVC, kept clean under protective film. Bloom was later brought back for the light court roofs.
Automotive Facility, Detroit
Bloom removed worn roofing and installed polyiso with a 60-mil TPO system across 92,861 square feet, coordinating the work with personnel below the roof.
Warehouse, Chesterfield
Visual inspection and aerial infrared findings helped Bloom evaluate 16 roof areas. More than 400,000 square feet did not need replacement.
Holy Rosary Parish, Flint
Bloom replaced 15,368 square feet of roofing above a K-8 school and child development center with tapered insulation and adhered EPDM, completing the work before the fall semester.
Gerald R. Ford Presidential Library, Ann Arbor
Selected after the Museum project, Bloom installed 27,237 square feet of adhered 80-mil PVC while following the facility's security and safety requirements.
Accident Fund Headquarters, Lansing
During the redevelopment of the Ottawa Street Power Station as offices, Bloom installed adhered TPO roofing across 62,119 square feet on the tall, balconied building.
Gerald R. Ford Presidential Museum, Grand Rapids
Working with National Archives staff, Bloom installed an adhered 80-mil PVC system across 34,161 square feet at a building holding irreplaceable collections.
H.H. Dow Leadership Academy, Midland
Water was reaching the garage below. Bloom replaced 9,072 square feet of courtyard waterproofing under pavers and planters, through winter, with EFVM leak detection. First place, Sika Sarnafil Project of the Year.
Monroe Hospital, Bloomington
As part of the new hospital's construction, Bloom installed a 94,840-square-foot adhered EPDM roof ahead of the approaching winter.
Ottawa Hills Junior and Senior High School
Bloom replaced damaged gypsum decking and installed fully adhered EPDM with tapered insulation across 24,453 square feet while protecting ornate plaster ceilings.
Michigan State Capitol, Lansing
As part of the design-build team, Bloom addressed 8,000 square feet of damaged roofing with 90-mil adhered EPDM and was selected again for later work.
Meijer Distribution Facility, Tipp City
Bloom installed a custom adhered TPO system across 255,394 square feet, with interior protection planned for the food and perishables stored below.
UPS Hub, Maumee
At a hub that operates around the clock, Bloom installed 288,761 square feet of 60-mil mechanically fastened EPDM with minimizing disruption as the objective.
Kraft Manufacturing Facility, Kendallville
Six roof areas totaling more than 100,000 square feet, replaced with a custom fully adhered PVC system, with additional interior protection and late-hour scheduling to coordinate with manufacturing activity below.
Somerset Collection, Troy
After completing roofing for the north-wing addition, Bloom was selected again to design a comprehensive custom roof system for the south wing.
